I'm trying to use the Dynamic Images module to reference and display variant images on the product page. In this case, I just want thumbnail images in columns so the Variant Chart module is not right for me. I plan to modify the variant check_options() function to highlite the correct variant image in the group, and also to implement it with Lytebox so that clicking any variant image pulls up a lyteshow.

My problem is, I can't figure out how to loop through the variants and reference each image. If anybody can help, that would be great.

I did get it figured out. That's about as deep into X-Cart code as I've dug before. It took me quite a while to figure out what name/value pairs are in the $variants and variant options arrays. I don't do a lot of Smarty coding, but I'm getting better at it.

Anyway, for anyone interested, I've completed a simple mod that displays variant image thumbnails on the product page.

If you need to list (or chart) variants with descriptions, option choices, thumbnails, options to purchase, and more, I recommend trying the Variant Chart Module available from PHP Site Solutions here: http://www.phpsitesolutions.com/x-cart-variant-addons/variant-chart-module.html

Does the dynamic image works like this site www.monstertamplate.com if you point on any template thats how I want it to work.... Could you please help I have spent all day and I couldn't fix the issue... I can see the module in the module section but the patch want install at for:
